2024 Year End Conga Check-in

I've had a good deal of burnout post Breyerfest, so I've skipped out on some usual things, like blogging and surveys this fall. 

It's Christmas Eve, and I just wanted to write down some of my current conga goals for the future, for posterity's sake. I am not sure what 2025 will bring me in terms of blogs...maybe more, maybe less, but I have this space to use, so I should do that when I feel like it, right?

QH Gelding - Made lots of progress here in 2024! Here is what's left that I don't have:

  • 4 stocking variation of the chestnut appaloosa (not sure if there are any 2 socks on hind legs only but if so I need that too)
  • Chalky Appaloosa
  • Chalky Buckskin
  • Showcase box (Buckskin and/or Appy)
  • Woodgrain
  • Matte Bay Eighmeys SR
  • Charcoal Surprise
  • Silver Filigree Surprise

While I'm hopeful that in the future I may add a couple of these, the last 4 rarities may be but a pipe dream! I've never even seen any of the 3 Surprises in person, which I've always found strange.

SBW - I surprised myself by adding one of the uncommon chestnut rocking horse variations this year! (Brown eyes/yellow rocker). I am mostly looking for variations now:

  • Blue Eyes + Brown Rocker Chestnut Flockie
  • JAH Unpainted (tail is attached to body)
  • Raven without a star
  • Original Chestnut with two socks
  • Original Chestnut with 3 socks, hind sock on wrong leg
  • Interesting variations of the OG Chestnut in regards to color shade and facial markings
  • Any variations of any run that catch my interest 
  • Journey

Misty & Stormy - Added a NIB chestnut pinto Stormy Holiday set this year, pretty neat! Still wishing for in the future:

Roy - I made progress on Roy this year! Black SR, Alabaster SR, and Simba. Not that there's many on the mold anyway, but here is what I still don't have:

Hamilton - Aside from the obvious Raffle Guy, I have been able to keep up with Hammy which I am so thrilled about! The list is VERY short and will stay that way in 2025, goodness willing that they don't drop some sort of gambler for him:
